The Sarah Frye Home is a facility licensed by the State of Maine Department of Human Health Services and is operated by a Board of Trustees as a non-profit , tax exempt corporation. It was originated in 1903 in a rental building on the corner of Main St. and Sabattus St. Lewiston. The home moved to its current location in 1975. Originally it was home to five women, and now serves thirty six men and women sixty years and older.
Above and beyond our spacious and welcoming living environment, we offer many amenities such as private entrances, transportation to local medical appointments, a beauty salon, internet access and a resident driven activities program. Our employees are educated in the needs of each resident to ensure that their 24-hour care is accommodating and the best possible care we can offer.
